Steak Cold Searing¶
Ideal Steak: 1.5 inches thick
Caveat: No salting right before the cooking
- Step 0: Season with black pepper
- Step 1: Put the steak in the cold pan, no oil, high heat
- Step 2: Flip after 2 minutes, and another 2 minutes with high heat
- Step 3: Reduce the heat, gentle sizzle, no smoke or splatter
- Step 4: Flip every 2 minutes utill ready
- Step 5: Rest for 5 minutes before cutting
